Animal Head backpacks
Japan has always loved backpacks instead of oversized handbags. Usually sporting cute cartoon characters such as Hello Kitty, the latest trend is these massive toy animal heads. Ridiculous or fabulous? We’re not quite sure if we love or hate them, but a giant tiger head on your back is one way to make a fashion statement!
Creepers may have hit a trend on our shores, but in Japan, flatforms are where it’s at! These built up sneakers not only add height to your look (the more built up the better) but they’re super comfortable as well since they’re technically just your basic sneaker with height added to the base. We’re a huge fan of these!
This style is slowly making it’s way into fashion here, but thigh high socks are a great way to make a long t-shirt into a dress or make your cute dress stand out. They’re also lightweight to fold up and carry round - making these a must-have if you’re travelling light. Pair with heels or your flatforms to really complete the look.
Nikki Minaj may have bought this trend back, but candy floss and bubble gum coloured hair is a popular
Japanese way to add a pop of colour to your look. This is a great colour for winter if you find yourself
gravitating towards darker clothes. It also won’t wash your skin tone out as much as harsh vibrant hair
Shine in every colour of the rainbow with holographic fabrics. Katy Perry favoured this style with her Prismatic album launch, but this futuristic space age style will add colour to your look and dazzle your friends.
