NZFW: Itzme

Posted on 10 November 2015

ITZME may still be a newbie to the Fashion Week scene, but the young
designer still stunned the runway with her latest collection. Showcasing
a playful collection with a burst of colour - this year’s Itzme range
showcased pleats, babydoll dresses and playful pantsuits, all topped off
with delicate shoes and a youthful feel.

Earning their own show this year alongside Julian Danger, ITZME was
able to show a more complete range than their previous showings in the
new generation shows. With a fine line between sleepwear and daywear,
the clothes appeared comfortable enough for the weekend, but in colours
that could be perfectly dressed up for evening wear. An added bonus was
that this entire collection was very wearable - with statement on trend
pieces such as culottes and co-ordinates all taking centre stage.

A highlight for us was the powder blue pleated baby doll dress paired with
white socks for a schoolgirl styled look. Not only was this fresh and perfect
for spring, but it was a much needed dose of colour into the fashion scene
this year - with many other designers opting for darker palettes and neutral
tones.
